I think about game design a lot.
I’m a games producer and designer. I’ve been working in the interactive field since 2007 - that’s the year that the iPhone came out, so it’s been a little while.
I’ve made things for Disney, the BBC and Tate Modern; I’ve made games where you control a pinball machine with your face, or get stranded in the Antarctic, and I’m currently working at ustwo games.
When I think about games, I think about video games, board games, and games you make up on the spot when playing with your cat or your children. I think about how they tell stories and how they interact with the rest of culture, and I think about how they change our behaviour and our expectations of one another. I’m trying to write some of those thoughts down, and that’s what you’ll find here.
